At Rider Levett Bucknall we believe that experience of the working environment is crucial to your development and so we actively encourage students to participate in a year-out or vacation placement. These placements have been developed to equip you with an experience and understanding of our industry that will prove invaluable to your future.

To assist you with your learning program we offer:

Rider Levett Bucknall technical manual detailing the skills to be developed
Flexible implementation depending on each student's aptitude and talents
Development of skills across all aspects of our consultancy services. This would include a range of skills including exposure to estimating and cost planning of projects to BOQ measurement and past contract services.
Rotation across a series of teams for the opportunity to gain experience in different project types.
Training seminars, presentation and technical forums.
External coursework relevant to the business is encouraged.
