Rider Levett Bucknall NSW celebrated another successful year of business on Tuesday 30th June 2009, at their annual cocktail party with over 260 clients and colleagues.
The event was held at the stunning Jorn Utzon room at the Sydney Opera House, which was fitting given the firm was originally engaged in the building's construction in 1959. More recently, the firm managed the Facilities Management (FM) Exemplar Project, initiated by the Federal Government's FM agenda, which developed a management plan for the building.
With origins dating back over 230 years, the Rider Levett Bucknall global practice was launched in June 2007 in response to growing globalisation and increased client requirements. The company boasts a collaboration of over 2,000 talented employees in over 80 offices world wide, committed to the quality of three cores services - Cost Consultancy, Project Management and Advisory Services.
Bob Richardson, Managing Director of Rider Levett Bucknall's Sydney office commented, "Our involvement with the Sydney Opera House, this world heritage listed and most famous building in Australia goes back over 50 years and we are very proud to have such a long and successful association. Today we continue to work on the House upgrade projects and look forward as we did this time last year, to a visionary commitment by our Governments to the upgrade of the Opera Theatre."
