The Chews Lane Precinct is a significant Wellington CBD mixed use redevelopment, located on Willis and Victoria Streets. The 4,000 square metre site has been fully redeveloped to incorporate a wide variety of uses, including office, parking, retail and apartments.
Rider Levett Bucknall provided cost and delivery advice for this blended development delivering: 19 retail stores, 15,000 square metres of office space and 197 carparks. The development has achieved a very clever blend of old and new structures and comprises a number of new and refurbished buildings centred around a revitalised Chews Lane. The development has created very significant value on the site.
The Cancer Care Centre is a two storey facility located between existing buildings and incorporates radiotherapy cancer treatment facilities administration, consulting and cafe facilities and is connected by a link bridge to an extended two story car park. The building is also designed for future expansion of the radiotherapy bunkers. The planning of the facility incorporated space allowance for future construction of an additional bunker for two further treatment enclosures at Ground floor, as well as the Fitout of the pharmacy at the upper first floor.
The Counties Manukau Police Station is a new three level building complex completed in December 2008, located on the corner of Wiri Station Road and Barrowcliffe Place, Manukau City. The facility is the major operational and command centre for the Counties Manukau Police District and is the culmination of many years of planning to provide a state-of-the-art facility to serve the local community and support the delivery of modern policing services.

The Te Kopahou Reserve Interpretation Centre was the final phase of a project that started in 2000 when Wellington City Council bought and closed an old quarry. It includes a shelter where visitors can learn about the local history and geology, and use picnic facilities, carparking and toilets.
This 3,500m2 (gross floor area) building once the site of a Mitre 10 store has been given a second life. Kakariki House is owned by the Wise Group, one of New Zealand's largest non government providers in the mental health sector. The development has embraced eco and green build initiatives and has achieved a Four Green Star rating.
Te Rauparaha Arena is a 6500sqm multipurpose indoor sports & events centre, comprising of: a 3-court main hall with seating for 2000 spectators, a single court hall, a fitness gym, and several associated function spaces. Renovating the existing facility to cater for high end functions was not an option for the Heritage Classified Northern Club. The solution was to redevelop the 422m2 Centennial Wing into a modern, clearspan structure encouraging the use of modern construction techniques to provide a flexible, multi-use function area.
